This new power catamaran was designed with the objectives of being extremely fuel efficient, capable of a reasonable cruising speed, easy and comfortable to cruise, pleasing to the eye, blue water capable and for its size being able to accommodate six people.
The Chamberlin 10 power catamaran was designed with an open feel, which when you consider it has 2 queen size cabins, separate head and shower compartments, large galley and another double accommodation in a sofa bed and even a childs pilot berth in a 10 metre boat, it is amazing. The head and shower compartments, which have a gel coat finish, with each having an in built vanity and the floor above water level, so that they are self draining are very adequately sized and have individual external ventilation. The galley has had a lot of thought towards the best possible use of the storage space available, with plenty of bench space, and an easy to use layout. The wide opening companion way doors give a light and airy feel to the boat. The helm station has good visibility and has been set up to be very comfortable to use.
By being carefully constructed, particularly in respect to unnecessary weight, it is capable of a healthy payload besides its capacity of 1300 litres of fuel and 700 litres of water. The designer, Robin Chamberlin, has again managed to craft a beautiful design that performs extremely
well.
